Client-Ready Content: How to Create Posts That Actually Attract Paying Clients
===
[00:00:00] Welcome to the Dietitian Boss Podcast. In today's episode, I really wanna highlight how to create posts that attract paying clients. This is a really common question, so I wanna ask you, are your posts online educational content but still hearing crickets? If so, you're not alone. If you're tired of getting likes from other Dietitians and wondering why potential clients aren't reaching out today, I am gonna address that all for you.
We're gonna talk about the difference between helpful content and client ready content. Now there is a difference, and I wanna show you how to make sure your posts are speaking to the right person at the right stage of their journey. That can feel tricky. So the first shift is for you to stop teaching and start translating your content.
Shouldn't sound like a lecture, it should sound like a conversation. So we don't wanna use jargon. We wanna make sure we're using words and concepts that our target audience understands. Make it [00:01:00] conversational and formal. One of our clients, a clinical Dietitian, transitioning to private practice, was posting Canva, infographics full of facts, and she got lots of saves, which is great, but she didn't get any dms or traction the way she wanted to.
So we had to reframe our content using client language. So she switched her educational style, heavy infographic style posts on Instagram to changing the language. And this is what she said. On the post, we came up with this, are you afraid to eat carbs because of your PCOS diagnosis? Here's what I want you to know, and that language spoke to her ideal client.
Right. That post got four replies and it led to a $450 sale. She sold a client bundle just from that post, from taking the same concepts used before, and heavy infographic meaning a post kind of stuffed with educational concepts to reframing [00:02:00] that same concept, but using different language that her ideal clients understood.
So the takeaway from this story is that I want you to speak to your client, right? Just your client. So not everybody, but think about speaking to one person when you're making a piece of content. The second shift is I want you to think about making your feed match your offer. This is a little bit more advanced, so if you're not posting consistently yet, this might be a shift that you're gonna wanna save or keep in mind down the line.
If your content doesn't reflect your service or your product, if you're selling a digital product, then you've probably created confusion instead of conversation. So you wanna make sure that there's a direct link between what you're posting and what you're selling. And that can be tricky because it might not be putting all the pieces together as a business owner.
So one of our Dietitians, a heart healthy Dietitian. She was posting recipes, but she wasn't selling her coaching package. [00:03:00] So we helped her align her posts with this offer that she was selling by highlighting client wins consistently and using testimonial style posts. Additionally, sharing behind the scenes of sessions, and that really got.
A connection that she wasn't able to garner before. So using these three strategies, client wins consistently, testimonial style posts with permission and behind the scenes of sessions. That's really what worked. So this Dietitian said, once I started, showing what it was like to work with me, people started reaching out, right?
She created more relatability. And that created conversations in her posts and in her content right when she showed up online. So inside of the library, that's our monthly membership. We give you caption formulas to connect with your offers and done for you content for three to four months worth of content with 12 different specialties.
Now, that's just for Instagram. We also have written email marketing templates. Nurture [00:04:00] sequences lead magnets. we've created templates for you to plug and play for your website if you're using Kajabi. So we've got a lot of different features for you inside of the library that can help you speed up your time when growing your business and stop spinning your wheels.
Now, the next shift I want you to think about is content that converts. You wanna start with confidence. So the real reason that Dietitians post this vague content is because they're afraid. And I get it. I've been there. We've all been there. You're afraid of being too salesy, right? That's why you're not showing your face.
Are you afraid of saying the wrong things? So you see nothing at all, or you're afraid of being judged by your peers and that's holding you back from connecting with your ideal clients. This is also familiar, so remember one of our Dietitian clients who works in the gut health space, she did use our social media templates, right?
The done for you templates, and she got some feedback from a coaching session 'cause we offer live coaching calls monthly in the [00:05:00] membership to go over some of her questions and thoughts. Since she was able to book her first a thousand dollars month from being consistent and using those templates, and then she was getting reposted by some niche influencers and she's feeling really proud to sell her offer.
And so that's really because you're able to find a way. To feel confident and show up. So if you're able to stop the vague content and start posting something specific and find ways to overcome your fear of being salesy, you have a better chance of making sales. And she said, I finally realized I wasn't just sharing information, I was inviting someone to change their habits and their life in a positive way.
So I want to give you an actionable tip here. Use a four part call to action that we teach. Identify the problem, show how you help share a small win. And then invite an action, for example, like DM me Gut for next steps or DM me, [00:06:00] whatever. Something that tells them something to do.
As a bonus, you can practice posting with purpose, so You don't have to be perfect to be profitable. That's why inside of the Dietitian Boss Library, you do get more than 50 done for you. Caption templates, a hundred done for you, posts plus, and you get feedback not only on your messaging during our live coaching calls and inside of our forum, but you also get feedback on whatever questions you have, whether it's client case scenarios that are clinical related or business skills boundaries.
Or even about your offer and how to progress it and what to charge and how to position yourself. Those are all really common questions that our clients have. So if you want to show up and you're looking to do this with clarity so that you can create posts that attract paying clients with some support, I do wanna invite you to join the library.
It's our monthly membership where we help you grow your business with confidence using online marketing, like social media to show up and show your face. So you can head over to Dietitian [00:07:00] boss.com and join the library where we're gonna help you write. client ready captions.
